Creating the Layout

The easiest means to a containment layout is to work off an existing floor plan view of the computer room. If a floor plan is not available, Promera will work with clients to develop a simple floor plan of the computer room to facilitate the containment design. Once you know which aisles you want to contain, you can plot the perimeter of your containment system taking into consideration all of the points above.

Measuring for the layout. As with any mechanical system, accurate measurements are important for successful implementation. The different types of containment systems provide different levels of flexibility and forgiveness of imprecise measurements. Generally, softwall systems are most forgiving. For this reason, Promera allows customers to submit their own measurements.

Hardwall systems utilize custom fabricated components and Promera requires measurements by Promera authorized agents.
